The world may be falling apart, but at least our favorite TV series are back on the air. This week, we asked readers to pen a few haikus inspired by their favorite television characters — fictional and real. 
CELEBRITIES
ON ERIK HENRY'S MANTLE sits an Emmy award, mute evidence of excellence in his chosen profession. He hopes one day it will be joined by another, shorter statue — an Academy Award.  
 
 
Seeing New Kids on the Block in concert again is about the best parts of being 12 and 13 and 14 again, when we were on the cusp of something exciting and so newly thrilled about pop music that we actually manufactured tears while in the same room with an artist we adored.
